01. What is the History of Yorkshire RTC
Our club was established in 2018 under the name HD Select AFC. In 2020 we applied to the Junior Premier League to become one of their network of Regional Talent Centres. Our application was accepted and we changed our name to Yorkshire Regional Talent Centre.
Our Training Program is based on a structured Training Syllabus.
Each of our age groups (U10 to U18) train for approximately 3 hours per week. Our training sessions cover, Core Skills, Strength & Conditioning and include Small Sided Games. Each session has clear Aims and Objectives in line with the Training Program.
The Junior Premier League (JPL) is for players who are on the cusp of professional academy football and want to be challenged by playing with other talented players in a highly competitive national league.
The league takes place on Saturday so all players can continue to play with their local clubs on Sundays.
The ethos of the JPL is 'Best against Best' and 'Development before Results'.
We are proud supporters of the work undertaken by the Kick It Out campaign.
We are 100% committed to creating a fantastic footballing environment where all players feel happy and focussed solely on achieving their potential within football. We will not tolerate any form of Racism or Discrimination. We have clear policies and procedures relating to Equality, Discrimination and Welfare and will engage with the FA Welfare Officer, other organisations and ultimately the police in the event of any issue occurring within our club.
