OUR STORY
The club was founded in 2018 with a single team under the name HD Select (Huddersfield District) AFC.
In 2020 we applied to the Junior Premier League to become one of their network of 15 Regional Talent Centres. Our application was accepted and we changed our name to Yorkshire Regional Talent Centre.

In the same year we became proud partners with Emley AFC who are a highly respected and established Semi Professional Club in the Yorkshire area.
This relationship provides a clear progression route into a semi professional academy for any players who do not get signed by a Pro Club by the age of 16
As the club has developed our crest has been redesigned twice to include the Emley AFC badge and then to include the Yorkshire Rose:

We currently have teams from U9s to U16s competing in the JPL.

We also have a Pre-Academy of U7s and U8s who are being developed to enter the JPL as U9s.
