NORTHERN REP TEAM

The Junior Premier League run a Northern Representative Team at u9s through to u15s.

This programme is aimed at the best players in the Junior Premier League from across the Region, and offers players the opportunity to train alongside fellow top performing players.

As part of a Rep Team, players will develop individually through extra coaching and by playing top quality games against leading academies.

The Rep Team programme will not impact upon a player’s training or matches with their existing JPL club, as the program has been designed to work alongside the normal season.

Players undertake a number of training sessions, with high quality coaches, during the season as well as playing games against category 1, 2 and 3 academies.

Last season the Rep Teams played against Arsenal, Bristol City, Crewe Alexandra, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Northampton Town to name a few.

The JPL have had amazing success with the Rep Team players, seeing 1 in 7 players sign for professional academies.

During the season players selected for the programme will also have the opportunity to attend an overseas trip. The last couple of tours have been to an elite training camp at Real Madrid. This has included training at the first team training facility, games versus Spanish opposition and a tour of the Bernabeu Stadium.
